Sunday mass is at 9:00am.

Facilities at Turner Mountain include a 5,600 foot double chair lift offering 2,110 feet of vertical lift and has a capacity of 500 skiers per hour. The ski area is patrolled by volunteers and ski school instruction is available. Groomed runs are provided.

Two Bit Outfit LLC offers full service hook ups, spacious tree lined sites, laundry, showers free long distance and free Internet connection. Cable available.

Upper Pipe Creek (225) starts out steeply but becomes more gentle as it contours the slope. Tom Poole Lake is visible below and to the south. Two miles up the trail and to the south there is a small unnamed pond.

Vinal-Mt. Henry-Boulder National Recreation Trail (9) gains little in elevation, therefore making it a great trail for families and less ardent hikers. The easiest section is where it parallels Vinal Creek on the west end. As the grade increases, it traverses the ridge to Mt. Henry.

On Way-Up Mine Trail one will often see bands of mountain goats on the cliff faces in the area. The trail offers vistas of Lost Horse Mountain to the south and glimpses of Twin Peaks to the north as well as good views of the basin, which forms the headwaters of West Fisher Creek.

West Fork Quartz Creek Trail follows along the creek bottom for the first 0.3 mile, crosses West Fork Quartz Creek and parallels the creek on the northeast bank for the next 1.5 miles, then climbs steeply until the south shoulder of Huson Peak is reached.

Wolf Creek flows through lands of mixed ownership, however, the railroad follows and crosses the creek in numerous places, so access is no problem. There is a waterfall about 8 miles from the headwaters of the creek.

Coopers Woodland RV Park

Woodland RV Park offers grassy spaces in the trees by the creek. Enjoy horseshoes or cooling your feet in the creek.

Yaak Falls

This waterfall is the highlight for many visitors as they tour through the Yaak area. During spring and early summer tremendous viewing opportunities abound in the Yaak River area as snowmelt follows its way down and over the falls.

A steep climb, Yaak Lookout Snowmobile Trail follows a primitive road up to the Yaak Mountain Lookout. It may be somewhat difficult for beginners because of the narrow road and sharp corners, and is recommended only for snowmobilers with experience.

The ride through the Yaak Valley is spectacular in itself. The area abounds with wildlife and the brilliance of nature at its finest. The road follows much of the Yaak River and at one point, Yaak Falls, visitors may stop and see the Forest's most popular waterfall.

Yarnell Island is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana, 21 miles northeast of Libby and approximately 3 miles north of Libby Dam on Lake Koocanusa. This site is accessible only by boat; during periods of drawdown from the Dam, one can walk to the island.
