Caribou Campground

Caribou Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana at an elevation of 3600 feet. This small campground is located 3.5 miles south of the US/Canada border. Adjacent to Caribou Creek, this site offers serenity and peace to forest visitors. There are 3 campsites.

Caribou Trail (56) begins on a logging road and runs uphill through a lodgepole pine stand. Gaining elevation, the trail sidehills around Caribou Mountain and fades out near the US/Canada border.
