Glacier Maze, 1.2 miles of puzzling passage ways on 2 levels, also bumper boats, mini golf and bank shot basketball.

Once you arrive at Baptiste Lookout you can see north to Firefighter Lookout and the top of Great Northern Mountain. Unrestricted views of Hungry Horse Reservoir and Jewell Basin to the west can be seen.

There is a $30 a night usage fee and a maximum stay of three days. The cabin will accommodate up to six people. Propane cooking, lights, and wood heat are provided. Renters must furnish their own water.

Coal Ridge Trail (14) meets with Coal Creek Trail 239. There are excellent view in all directions. A special attraction is an old fire lookout platform and cabin.

As you rise from the valley bottom, switching back and forth across the west face of the mountain, you gain a clear view of Big Mountain in the Whitefish Range and the entire Flathead Valley.

Doris Creek Trail joins the Alpine Trail 7 on the east side of Blaine Mountain near Jenny Lake. About 3 miles, from here are options. To reach Jenny Lake travel .25 mile south along the Alpine Trail 7, continuing south go all the way to the Jewell Basin Hiking Area.

Doris Ridge Trail brings you up through the Doris Lakes Basin and then connects to Alpine Trail 7.

Essex Ski Trail Complex is a trail system that consists of 7 trails. To access the complex, park at Izaak Walton Inn. The trails are maintained and groomed by Izaak Walton Inn. There is a required trail fee of $5.00 per person.

Fire Island Campground has 4 designated campsites. Restrooms available. Drinking water is not provided.

Glacier Cabins

Glacier Cabins offers 5 clean, comfortable log cabins, 3 with kitchenettes, 1 with a fireplace and one with 2 bedrooms. Rustic outside, remodeled inside. Barbecue grills & picnic tables are located by each cabin.

Glacier Park Inn Bed and Breakfast

The Glacier Park Inn B & B is a unique octagon house on the banks of the wild and scenic Flathead River. The view of the river with the mountain peaks of Glacier National Park is breathtaking to all who visit.

Graves Bay Campground has 10 designated campsites. Restrooms available. Drinking water is not provided. The maximum recommended trailer length for this area is 22 feet.

Handkerchief Lake Campground is located in the Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 3,500 feet, the campground encompasses an area of 4 acres. It consists of 9 campsites in brushy timber on the shore of this 32-acre lake.

Historic Tamarack Lodge & Motel

Thank you for inquiring about the historic Tamarack Lodge and Motel! Our historic log lodge (built in 1907) and motel (all new in 2003) is situated in a spectacular mountain valley in the midst of the Montana Rockies and is surrounded by Flathead National Forest.

Four person capacity; cost $20.00. Three day limit depending upon number of reservations. Winter access can be difficult. No water provided. No pets.
