Big Creek Trail

Big Creek Trail (150) is primarily a creek bottom hike for 80 percent of the hike. Hiking is relatively easy until you leave the creek bottom and climb up to the trailhead on Road 7183. Fishing for small (4 to 8 inches) trout is available on the North Fork of Big Creek.

Big Creek Trail

Big Creek Trail (248) parallels the east side of the creek and then crosses to the west and continues for another 150 feet to the base of the falls. The 50-foot waterfall is the primary attraction on this trail. The trail and bridge were recently reconstructed.

Big Therriault Lake Campground

Big Therriault Lake Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 5700 feet, the campground encompasses 5 acres of land. There are 10 campsites at Big Therriault Campground, and restrooms and drinking water are provided.

Length: 4.1 km of more difficult trail; no grooming. Limited parking.

Blue Mountains RV Park is located 5 miles north of Eureka on Highway 93. The 10 tent sites and 26 RV sites are all beautifully groomed and grassy with full pull-throughs.

Boulder Lake Trail

Boulder Lake Trail (62) leads to Boulder Lake. The hike to the lake is on a relatively gentle grade, while the remainder of the trail to its junction with Trail 91 has a steeper grade with a number of switchbacks. Portions of Trail 91 have not been maintained for some time.

Buckhorn Ranch Outfitters offer scenic pack trips in the Kootenai and Flathead National Forests. We offer either rifle or bow, elk and mule deer combination hunts in the Bob Marshall Wilderness, specializing in the early September bugle season for bull elk.

Camp 32 Campground

Camp 32 Campground is located in Kootenai National Forest at an elevation of 3200 feet. There are 8 campsites. Maximum vehicle legth is 20 feet; not recommended for trailers. Restrooms and drinking water are provided. Pets are welcome, but they must be kept on leashes.

Cliff Point Trail

From the lower trailhead, Cliff Point Trail (436) climbs a sidehill through a series of three switchbacks for 2.5 miles to Cliff Point, then follows the ridgeline between Little North Fork/Big Creek and Gold Creek drainages to the upper trailhead on Road 751.

Creek Side Motel & RV Park

Creek Side Motel & RV Park is a great base to stay while exploring Canada, Glacier National Park and The Koocanusa. We have 25 tent sites and 12 RV sites, as well as free showers. All RV spots have full hookups and we are close to town and Casinos.

Dancing Dreamers Retreat Center, located near the Canadian border in the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana, is situated in a beautiful mountain setting surrounded by trees and water lending itself to contemplation and meditation.

The Eureka Branch Library is a branch of the Lincoln County Library headquartered in Libby. A membership requires an ID and proof of local address to check out materials. Visitors to the community are welcome to stop by and use our free Internet DSL to access their e-mail.

Tucked away in Montana's forested northwest corner, this area offers some of the state's scenic treasures. Ten Lakes Scenic Area (882-4451) treats visitors to mountain drives, pristine lakes and abundant fishing. For area history, take in the Tobacco Valley Historic Village.

First Interstate Bank is a full service bank with a 24 hour Automated Teller Machine (ATM).

Frank Lake is a day only fishing access site. It is open all season. It is an undeveloped site.

Gateway Boat Campground

Gateway Boat Camp is located in Kootenai National Forest at an elevatin of 2460 feet. This boat camp is accessible by boat (must be beached), foot, or horseback only. It is not accessible to boats during reservoir drawdown. Check with the District office for current update.

The lobby is open Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Our drive-up bank is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

Glen Lake

Glen Lake is a state fishing access site located in northwest Montana. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed on Glen Lake. There is a boat launch. Access for camp trailers. Day use only.
