Logan State Park is located in northwest Montana. The campground offers tent and trailer sites, restrooms and drinking water. With frontage on the north shore of Middle Thompson Lake, Logan is heavily forested with western larch, douglas-fir, and ponderosa pine.

Lost Trail National Wildlife Refuge

The habitat diversity of the Refuge supports a wide variety of wildlife species. At least 14 species of migratory and breeding waterfowl utilize wetland areas. These include mallard, gadwall, cinnamon teal, green-winged teal, lesser scaup, wood duck, redhead, common goldeneye and Canada geese.
