Bar Gulch Cabin

The Bar Gulch Cabin is a rustic cabin with no electricity or running water. The cabin and outdoor toilets are accessible to persons with mobility impairments. Bar Gulch trail 241 begins near the cabin, and other trails and forest roads are nearby for hiking and mountain biking.

Three person capacity; cost $20. Most years the Birch Creek Road provides access to within 1/4 mile. Two room log cabin with wood cook stove, wood heating stove and electric range. The cabin is in very good condition and was built by the Civil Conservation Corps.

Black Butte Cabin

Four person capacity; cost $25.00. Depending on snow conditions, snowmobile travel may be necessary. Refer to travel plan map regulations.

Three person capacity; cost $20.00. Depending on snow conditions, may need to travel up to 23 miles by snowmobile or ski to reach cabin.

The cabin will accommodate four people, and the cost is $30.00. It is accessible by horseback or hiking in summer and by snowmobile or crosscountry skis in the winter.

Four person capacity; cost $30.00. Access Forest Road Number 119. Not plowed. Cabin is located 8 miles from Highway 89. Wood stove and firewood provided.
