Welcome Creek Trail (225) is a long flat trail for about 5 miles into the Welcome Creek Wilderness. The neat feature is the swinging bridge access across the Creek. The trail follows the creek the whole way up until it climbs up the steep rocky divide.

The 29,135-acres Welcome Creek area is a true wilderness experience. The densely forested slopes, exposed ridges, and deep canyons of this heart-shaped Wilderness contribute to an all-too-rare example of relatively low elevation general forest to the National Wilderness System.

Four person capacity; cost $30.00. West Fork Butte Cabin Rental is ideal for four people. It is a 14 by 14 foot building out on a rocky knob overlooking the mountains south of Missoula. As you look to the north and to the south you will see the back of Lolo Peak.

The Western Montana Fairgrounds have buildings available during the off fair season to rent for weddings, parties, and etc. The Glacier Ice rink is open from November to April. Our large events include the May Fair Fling, the Mini Fair, and the Western Montana Fair in August.

Wyman Trail (226) is a scenic trail from Rock Creek up to the Sapphire Divide above the Skalkaho Game Preserve with views of the Bitterroot Mountains and the Rock Creek drainage.
