Sunday mass 9:00 and 11:00am. Saturday mass 5:00pm. Sunday summer masses 8:30 and 10:00am.

The church was built in 1889, the year Montana became a state and is outstanding for its graceful steeple, its paintings and stained glass windows. The paintings were done by a brother of the Society of Jesus, a kitchen helper, who painted them in his spare time and turned out to be a master.

St. John's is a day use only state fishing access on the Clark Fork River in south central Montana. Canoes/rafts can be hand launched from this site.

State Line Trail (46) follows the Idaho/Montana border along the Bitterroot Divide. It features immense views of both states. There is no drinking water available along the trail, so please remember to bring your own water.

Tarkio Fishing Access Site is a day use only site. There is a boat launch, toilets, and access for camp trailers. It is open all season.

Tarkio East is a day use only state fishing access site along the Clark Fork River in northwest Montana. Access to the river is difficult.

More than a simple path, the Lolo Trail is a network of trails that formed a vital travel corridor across the northern Rocky Mountains for early inhabitants. Unlike modern routes, the Lolo Trail was not built. Repeated footsteps of American Indian travelers created the trail.
