This site is 32 acres in size and 3,900 feet in elevation. There are grills/fire ring, picnic tables and trash cans available on the site. This fishing access site is part of the Blackfoot River Recreation Corridor that is 26 miles in length with 16 public access sites.

The Sam Braxton Trail is named after a well-known Missoula skier, bicyclist and outdoorsman. This trail loops around the southeast portion of Pattee Canyon Recreation Area.

Sandstone Ridge Trail (228) goes up to the top of the east side of Rock Creek. Then if follows the ridge all the way back north to Brewster Creek Road. There area several non-motorized trails leading down to Ranch Creek from the top.

Sha-Ron is a state fishing access site located along the Clark Fork River in south central Montana. This day use only site does have a boat launch.

Sheep Flats is a day use only state fishing access site located along the Blackfoot River. Numerous roads skirt this area, and provide several; access points to the river down a steep bank. Non-motorized watercraft only for the Blackfoot River and its tributaries.

At an elevation of 4,500 feet, Siria Campground contains 4 campsites. Fishing can be enjoyed here. No drinking water is provided. Please limit your stay to 14 days.

Skookum Butte Trail (304) is a short trail that switchbacks up to the old lookout. It features views of Lolo Creek and the Graves Range. In the winter the Elk Meadows Road is closed to vehicle traffic for snowmobile use. Then the road becomes part of the snowmobile network.

Smokejumper Visitor's Center

The Smokejumper Visitor Center is the largest active smokejumper base in the nation. The Smokejumper Visitor Center is a unique opportunity to learn about this unusual, demanding and dramatic occupation. A tour of the facility is also available.

At Snowbowl Summer Chairlift Ride, if the views from our lift rides to 7,000 feet don't take your breath away, then give some of our summer activities a try. We've got hiking, mountain biking, wild berry picking and folf. And, yes you can ride the lift back down, too.

Solomon Ridge Trail (142) is a long trial along the border of the wilderness at first then into the wilderness and up to the divide. High, dry ridge trail, bring water.

Southgate Grill offers a full menu. Breakfast is served all day. We make our own doughnuts fresh everyday. Need a ham' We offer whole and half hams ready to heat and serve or slice for sandwiches. Come join us for doughnuts and coffee, start the day with a smile.
