Rexford Bench Campground

Rexford Bench Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 2500 feet, the campground encompasses 25 acres. There are 153 different campsites to choose from. Drinking water and restrooms are provided.

Rexford Ranger District

This Ranger Station is located in the northernmost part of Montana, just 8 miles south of the US/Canada border (magnificent views of the Canadian Rockies may be seen). Eureka is a quiet community nestled in the Tobacco Valley and surrounded by mountains and fresh water lakes.

The Robinson Mountain Trail (159) begins in a cutting unit and follows an old skid trail for 0.3 mile prior to entering the timber. The trail then follows the ridgeline between Young Creek and Yaak River drainages with occasional vistas into one drainage or the other.

Rock Lake Campground

Rock Lake Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana at an elevation of 2,915 feet. This site is located in a natural forest environment. There is designated parking; individuals walk a very short distance to the picnic tables and tent sites.

Rocky Gorge Campground is located in Kootenai National Forest. This unit is located in a natural forest setting adjacent to 90-mile-long Lake Koocanusa, and along State Highway 37. This site features a camping/parking area that is surrounded by forest lands.

Sophie Lake is a state fishing site located in northwest Montana. It is a day use only site. A boat launch, toilets and water is available.

Sunflower Bakery and Coffee House

The Sunflower Bakery and Coffee House is a warm, friendly spot in the middle of Eureka, Montana. You enter into the smell of fresh bread, buttery croissants and steaming bowls of soup.

Swisher Lake Trail is located approximately 2 miles south of the US-Canada border in Kootenai National Forest. This walk-in site is located in an open forest/grassland type atmosphere adjacent to Swisher Lake. It is very serene and an excellent getaway for those seeking solitude.

Located in the extreme northwest corner of Montana, the Ten Lake Scenic Area of the Kootenai National Forest offers more than 89 miles of trails of remote backpacking and hiking opportunities through rugged terrain with spectacular mountain views reaching into Canada.

There is access for camp trailers, but day use only area. A boat launch and toilets are available.

The Corner Cottage, conveniently located in the town of Eureka, consists of 2 bedrooms, bath with both a shower and jacuzzi tub, sitting room with satellite TV and VCR and a breakfast nook with a small refrigerator and microwave. High speed internet is available as well.

Tobacco River Campground is at an elevation of 2,460 feet and contains 6 designated campsites. This site is located adjacent to the Tobacco River in a natural forested area.

Tobacco Valley Historical Village

Tucked away in Montana's forested northwest corner, along the Tobacco River, is a unique collection of buildings and various structures from the 1880s to 1920s. The collection includes a school, church, log cabin, general store, fire tower and railroad depot.

Vickie's Country Diner offers a full breakfast menu. Our specialty includes homemade pies, soup, and salads. Enjoy great food in a clean friendly atmosphere, with a panoramic view of the mountains.

Length: 8.5 km of more difficult trail; no grooming. Mid-elevation, holds snow most of the season. Limited parking on Road 7912 just off Pinkham Creek Road 854.

Webb Mountain Lookout

Five person capacity; cost $20.00. Constructed in 1959, this lookout has been used as an observation point for 35 years. It is equipped with a wood stove, table, chairs, mattress, shovel, bucket, and cleaning gear. Due to vandalism, however, these items are not guaranteed.

Whitetail Lodge

Whitetail Lodge is a 2000 square foot, post and beam cabin; an ideal summer get-away nestled in the Rocky Mountains of northwest Montana. Located near Glacier National Park on scenic Glen Lake; it has an incredible view of the lake and a mountain range.
