Salmon Lake State Park

A natural impoundment, Salmon Lake is one of the beautiful links in the chain of lakes on the Clearwater River and just south of Seeley Lake. Fishing, boating, and a variety of water sports are popular activities in this woodland setting of western larch, ponderosa pine, and Douglas-fir.

Sawyer Creek - Rice Ridge Snowmobile Trail begins at milepost 20, Highway 83 and continues on Road 685 to Rice Ridge Road 720 at Junction D (Route 3). Access to Rice Ridge and Holland Lake in spring when snow has melted on lower trails. Not groomed on a regular basis.

Season's Restaurant is located inside the historic 5,000 square foot Double Arrow Lodge. We offer our unique 'classic country' cuisine. The restaurant is recognized by Wine Spectator as having one of the finest wine lists in the world.

Seeley Creek Cabins

Beautiful, brand new rental cabins in Seeley Lake, Montana. Cabins include 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds. Full size futon and rollaway beds also available for additional occupants. Each cabin has a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and satellite TV. Kitchens also available.

Seeley Creek Nordic Ski Trails are a series of linked ski trails. You can select a short, medium or long route. These trails are groomed for skating. No dogs are allowed on groomed trails. Snowmobiles prohibited. Parking available for 12 vehicles. Maps available at the District Office.

Seeley Lake

Seeley Lake is a 1,025-acre glacially-formed lake. It is stocked several times each year with rainbow trout, some weighing up to 15 pounds. The lake is also very popular among bass fishermen and boasts one of the finest bass fisheries in western Montana.

Seeley Lake Campground

Seeley Lake Campground is located in the Lolo National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 3,993 feet, the campground encompasses 11 acres. The 29 campsites and 9 picnic sites are located on the shore of Seeley Lake in a wooded area.

Seeley Lake Fun Center is a year-round recreational rental store and a full line Arctic Cat dealership. We rent snowmobiles, cross country skis, and showshoes in the winter, and also offer guided snowmobile tours.

Visitors are amazed to walk into an old barn to find historic displays in the original horse stalls. Collections provided by local residents depict life, events and resources found in the surrounding area in years past.

Nestled in the tall timber between our Mission Mountains and famous Bob Marshall Wilderness, the Seeley Lake Motor Lodge is quietly located beside Highway 83 next to the downtown area of friendly Seeley Lake, Montana.

The Seeley-Swan scenic drive is a 90-mile long corridor along Highway 83 stretching through the Swan Valley from Seeley Lake to Swan Lake. This is lake country.

Shanley Ridge Trail (401) is an access trail to the Youngs Creek drainage in the Bob Marshall, from the Cottonwood Creek Road. It's west of Monture Creek at the end of a road with a seasonal closure.

Slippery John Snowmobile Trail begins at Slippery John Road 2191, Junction P, and continues to Beaver Creek Road 9974, Junction O. This trail connects to Route 7 and 14.

Spread Mountain Trail (166) is very steep for the entire route. It's a primitive foot trail over the top of Spread Mountain to Camp Pass.

Tamaracks Resort

Tamaracks Resort is located in the Lolo National Forest at the quiet north end of Seeley Lake. This resort offers 15 cabins all with kitchens and a camping/RV area is available with showers and hook-ups.

Large deck with view to lake. Level beach area and a swing by the lake. Fire pit, sand box and 210 feet of Cygnet lake frontage, great for swimming. No motorized boats allowed. Quiet, peaceful setting near Lindbergh Lake and to hiking trails.
