Seeley Lake

Monture Campground is at an elevation of 4,100 feet. It has 5 campsites. No drinking water available. This area is 9 miles from gas and groceries. The campground is located along Monture Creek and adjacent to Monture Trailhead. Fishing.

Monture Hahn Trail (27) is the main trail up Monture Creek, over Hahn Pass and down to Youngs Creek where they form the headwaters of the South Fork of the Flathead River. It's realatively flat till it climbs over the pass.

Morrell Falls National Recreation Trail (30) has been listed as a National Recreation Trail for many years. It is a popular family hiking trail about 2 miles in length with an easy to moderate grade to the falls area. Morrell Falls is a series of cascades, the longest of which is about 100 feet.

Welcome to the Whitetail Cabins. These are non-smoking cabins. They have been newly remodeled with fully equipped kitchens (microwave, coffee maker, toaster etc.), and satellite TV includes HBO. Most pets are welcome, please call for approval.

Nome Point Trail (374) is a very short hike or ride up to the point. The road is gated at the bottom so it's a couple miles before you get to the trail.

Placid Creek - Jocko Snowmobile Trail begins at Placid Creek Road 349, Junction O, and continues to junction with Beaver-Finley Creek Road 9974, Junction N. This is a good family trail. Not groomed on a regular basis.

Escape to paradise on Placid Lake. Brand new lakefront cabin, sleeps 9. Lounge on the oversized decks with great views. Fishing, swimming right off the dock or take the canoe for a ride. A vacation spot to remember.

Pyramid Pass Trail (416) is a nice dayhike with an alpine lake at the top. The pass is on the border of the Bob Marshall Wilderness and the trail is for non-motorized use only.

Richmond - Clearwater Loop Snowmobile Trail begins at Rice Ridge Road 720, Junction C, to Road 667, then connection trail at Junction G, to Road 671, 17594 and 17593, then to Road 4353 and Clearwater Road 4370. Scenic, view of the Swan Range. Watch for drifts.

Richmond - Marshall Hookup Snowmobile Trail begins at Richmond Saddle Road 667, Junction G, and continues to West Fork Clearwater Road 552, then to West Fork Crossover Road 9973, and then to Lake Marshall Road 463, Junction H. Good Family trail. Use caution at the highway crossing.

River Point Campground is located in the Lolo National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 3,993 feet, the campground encompasses 8 acres. The site is situated in thick pine, larch and fir trees near Seeley Lake at the outlet to the Clearwater River.
