Wells Drug is a complete drug store and prescription headquarters, serving the area. The crossroads location provides tourists with access to the 'Gateway to Alaska' and also a location 72 miles east of Glacier National park.

Wells Fargo's lobby is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The drive-up window is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 4:30pm and Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

If you want to camp next to a flowing river under a grove of trees, drive seven miles south of Shelby on the frontage road to Williamson Park. There are 25 camping spaces available with barbecues for self-contained units. Electric hook-ups are available, but no sewer.
