Ackley Lake State Park

Ackley Lake, named after an early settler and frontiersman, offers diverse water sports opportunities. Stocked with rainbow trout, the lake is often good angling for 10 to 15 inch fish. The elevation of the park is 4,336 feet and is 160 acres in size.

Gumbo Flats Farm Bed & Breakfast

Gumbo Flats Farm Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of Charlie Russell country, 5 miles off the pavement on an operating farm that grows wheat and barley. There are wide open spaces to view wildlife and birds and go for long walks.

Indian Hill Campground is located in Lewis and Clark National Forest. There are 7 campsites near scenic hiking trails. Drinking water and restrooms are provided. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 20 feet. Please limit your stay to 16 days.

Lost Creek Outfitting offers the best hunting available. We hunt on several ranches consisting of 34,000 acres of prime elk, mule deer and antelope country. The Missouri Rivers Breaks, which are between 3,000 and 4,000 feet of elevation, are hunted by foot and 4x4.

Meadow Brook Farm B & B Inn was built by my grandfather Thomas R. Murray in 1908. It is a registered historical site. We have tried to keep the Victorian atmosphere. The bathrooms are shared. The home is decorated with antique furniture and decor.

Located on the scenic Judith River, Rings and Rainbows offers fee pheasant hunting and fishing. Pheasants have been raised domestically and released for three years. No pheasants are released directly in front of hunters.
