The Marysville/Austin System Snowmobile Trail is a groomed snowmobile route which begins and ends at Marysville. Cooperative operation with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. Parking capacity for 20 cars.

Maupin/Willard Creek Trail

Willard Creek Trail is a short trail segment which provides access into the Elkhorn Mountains and the area burned in the 1988 Warm Springs Fire. In the winter there is 4.5 km of easiest trail; intermittent grooming. Parking capacity for 6 vehicles.

The length of this trail is 6 miles. Coordinates are Township 8N; Range 2W; Section 10. Trail begins at Trail Junction 343 and ends at Trail Junction 113. Maps available are the Helena National Visitor Map, Elkhorn Mountains Travel and Recreation Map, and USGS Map1 Casey Peak.

Meriwether Canyon Trail

The Meriwether Canyon Trail follows Meriwether Canyon into the Gates of the Mountains Wilderness. The Meriwether Picnic Area is a popular picnic site on the Missouri River in the Gates of the Mountains area, featuring soaring limestone cliffs.

Mill Creek Fee Title encompasses 2,210 acres.

Management goal: To conserve and protect in perpetuity in wildlife habitat while providing public hunting access.

Length: 40 miles of marked trails and 120 miles of marked and groomed trails. .Trail Begins: Telegraph Creek.Trail Ends: Loop

This scenic trail follows the water's edge where the Missouri River winds its' way through sheer cliffs. Although the trail grade is generally level there are a few steeper sections under 100 yards long. Please note also a portion of this trail proceeds over rocky terrain.

Missouri River Canyon Trail

Missouri River Canyon Trail is level along the river in the woods, 2 miles one way. Start at Meriwether Picnic ground, reached by boat. Hike south to Fields Gulch and beyond onto higher level viewpoint. Views of river and limestone cliffs and formations.

Monarch Creek Trail (362) length is 3.5 miles. The trail begins at Forest Road 4140 and ends at Junction Trail 329. Area Maps are the Helena National Forest Visitor Map and USGS Map1: Bison Mountain, Township 8N; Range 6W; Section 30.
