Agnes Lake Trail (122) is located in the Pioneer Mountains. The trail begins on the east side of Brownes Lake at the State campground and ends 0.5 mile east of Long Branch Lake on Willow Creek Road.

Armstead Campground is located approximately 20 miles south of Dillon on Interstate 15. Take Exit 44 along the upper Beaverhead River, which is a blue ribbon fishing spot. We are near lake activities and private property access to the Beaverhead River.

Sunday worship 10:30am and 7:00pm. Wednesday 7:00pm.

Barretts Park Campground has tent and trailer sites, handicapped accessible restrooms, and drinking water. The campground is near fishing and boating access. Not only is this a campground, but it is also a major take out for floaters. Two hundred yards down stream is a diversion dam.

Beverhead Campground has tent and trailer sites, handicapped accessible restrooms, and drinking water. The campground is near fishing and boating access. A boat launch is provided. Please limit your stay to 14 days.

Beavertail Outfitters' season is from April through September and we specialize in Beaverhead and Big Hole float, fly, or spin fishing for trout. Day trips are provided with available access to streams and private ponds. We have 25 years of guiding experience.

The Big Hole River Bunkhouse is a rustic cabin (3 bedrooms, laundry, bath, living room) located on a cattle ranch. We have four miles of private fishing access on the Bighole River.

Three person capacity; cost $20. Most years the Birch Creek Road provides access to within 1/4 mile. Two room log cabin with wood cook stove, wood heating stove and electric range. The cabin is in very good condition and was built by the Civil Conservation Corps.

Located in the Pioneer mountains, Birch Creek Center was originally constructed as a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Camp in the 1930s. It is presently leased by Western Montana College of the University of Montana and includes a number of short hiking trails.
