On the Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, you can travel the length of the Pioneer Mountain Range. Granite peaks topping 10,000 feet in elevation are to the east, and gentler, forested terrain stretches out to the west.

Poindexter Slough Fishing Access Site is a day use only site. A boat launch and toilets are available. Walk-in area. Open all season.

Gather the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month at 4:00pm.

Reservoir Lake is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. Scenic trails are offered for hiking. Fishing, swimming and boating are also among the activities to be enjoyed at the campground. There are 16 designated campsites, as well as restrooms and drinking water.

Rocky Mountain Supply is a customer owned store, a cooperative, which sells a wide variety of products. The co-op is open to all people. You need not be a member to enjoy shopping at the store.

Ruby Reservoir

The Ruby Reservoir in southwestern MT, offers a barely developed campground with primitive toilets on Ruby Reservoir, about 12 miles west of Virginia City. The reservoir was developed to supply irrigation to ranches and is therefore subject to large fluctuations in depth.

Sacajawea Memorial Picnic Area is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest at an elevation of 7400 feet. The picnic area is for day use only. Restrooms are available at the site.

The Sacajawea Motel offers 15 clean and comfortable rooms at bargain rates, double or queen beds, one kitchen unit, nonsmoking and handicapped rooms, cable and HBO, and complimentary beverages. We offer the traveler courteous service and a genuine smile.

At one time Selway Mountan had a fire lookout. So the top of the mountain has very good view of the surrounding area.

Southside RV Park is Dillon's official Good Sam Park. A quiet location, very close to the downtown area. Forty sites all with full service and free cable TV. Site's average 35 feet by 70 feet, restrooms, showers, security, phone and laundry. A Good Sam environmental rating of 9.5.

Sunday mass at 8:30am on the second, fourth and fifth Sundays.

Mass Saturday 5:30pm. Sunday 10:30am.

State Bank & Trust's lobby is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The drive-up bank is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm.

Tent Lake Trail is a short easy hike to a subalpine lake.
