Stumptown Historical Society Museum

Restored Great Northern depot and locomotive. Located in the heart of Whitefish, you can explore the area's logging and railroad history as well as the impact each industry has had within the Flathead Valley and throughout the Northwest. No admission is charged.

Central School Museum

In 1999, the Northwest Montana Historical Society renovated the 1894 Central School building - one of the first such buildings in the Flathead Valley and one of the a few lasting examples of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture which still retains its original appearance.

Tobacco Valley Historical Village

Tucked away in Montana's forested northwest corner, along the Tobacco River, is a unique collection of buildings and various structures from the 1880s to 1920s. The collection includes a school, church, log cabin, general store, fire tower and railroad depot.

Treasure County 89?rs Museum

The Treasure County 89'ers Museum started in 1989 with the renovation of a building on Hysham's main street. Local history is being preserved with displays and exhibits including an early day soda fountain that has been restored and is open on special occasions.

Upper Musselshell Museum

Exploring the Upper Musselshell Museum is rather like prowling around in someone's attic or barn, but be prepared to discover a full-sized replica of a dinosaur skeleton found in nearby Shawmut! There are also several collections of fossils and bones, and a 2,000 year-old buffalo skull.

Utica Museum

The Utica Museum is a collection of artifacts from the Homestead Era, such as dishes, clothes, furniture, tools, and leather goods. We have published two books on the history of Utica and the people who lived in the area.

Valley County Pioneer Museum

The Pioneer Museum is supported by Valley County, the Historical Society, and Friends of the Museum. The theme 'From Dinosaur Bones to Moonwalk' is a progressive history relating to Valley County and its people with authentic artifacts woven into historic displays.

Victor Heritage Museum

The Victor Heritage Museum is housed in the old Victor Depot Building at Blake and Main Street. It is open during the summer months from Memorial Day weekend through September. We charge no admission but donations are welcome.

Western Heritage Center

The Western Heritage Center, a regional history museum, interprets and reflects Yellowstone River Valley life.

Pierre Wibaux House Museum

The town and county of Wibaux are both named for Pierre Wibaux, who as a young man of 25 gave up opportunities in his family's textile business in France to seek his fortune in the American northwest.

Yellowstone Gateway Museum of Park County
