Four person capacity; cost $20.00. May require about a 1/4 mile walk in from December 1 - April 1, depending on snow conditions. Contains wood stove and propane gas stove. Well and toilets located across the road at Squaw Rock Campground.

Stony Campground is located in Deerlodge National Forest of southwest Montana. At an elevation of 5,500 feet, the campground encompasses an area of 2 acres of forest. There are 10 campsites with restrooms and drinking water provided.

The last 3 miles of Road 241 to trailhead is primitive road.
