Landers Fork Trail

The Landers Fork Trail begins at Indian Meadows trailhead, goes approximately 2 miles to the east, crosses the Landers Fork, then follows this river north into the Scapegoat Wilderness.

Leepers Motel

Leepers Ponderosa Motel is a charming family-owned motel with an excellent reputation for friendly service and consistent cleanliness. We are a AAA property with a two-diamond rating.

Sunday worship at 11:00am. Wednesday at 6:00pm; potluck. Sunday summer worship at 9:30am June - Labor Day.

Lincoln Ranger District

The Lincoln Ranger Station is one of 3 on the Helena National Forest. General forest information is available. Visitor maps can be purchased as well as permits for firewood and Christmas trees. Weekday hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm.

The Lumberjack Inn Bed and Breakfast is a family owned and operated facility. We offer three guest rooms with two bathrooms; one private and the other shared. Each room is decorated with antiques and log handmade beds. Our guests say they feel like Paul Bunyon when sleeping here.

Facilities at the trailhead are an unloading area and plenty of parking space.

The Historic Hotel Lincoln has been doing business in Lincoln for over 75 years and is registered with the Montana Historical Society as a historic building. The hotel log was signed by CM Russell on September 22, 1918.

Nevada Creek Trail

The Nevada Creek Trail is a moderate trail through conifers. Trail intersects with Trail 440 at the Continental Divide after approximately 4.5 miles.

Length: 4.5 miles. Moderate difficulty

Trail Begins: Forest Road 296.Trail Ends: Trail Junction 440

Porcupine Basin Trail begins on the north side of Beaver Creek Road 4106 and is signed. Hiking along a side hill there are few glimpses of the Beaver Creek Road 4106 and mountain to the south. The trail is under a forest canopy until reaching the talus slope.

The Prickly Nevada Trail climbs south through conifers to the junction with Trail 467 on the ridge, and continues south to Forest Road 296 (Nevada Creek Road).

Scapegoat Wilderness Outfitters

Come hunt with Scapegoat Wilderness Outfitters and see the beauty of the rugged, untouched wilderness of Montana Rockies and some of the most exciting hunting anywhere. Hunt for big game and elk from the peak of the rut in September to when the snow covers the mountains in November.

The Sleepy Hollow Mobile Home and RV Park open from April 1 through October 30 of each year; some year round spots possible. We are just a few feet from the Blackfoot River. It is a short walk to restaurants, stores, and activities. We are in the pines which are cool and scent the air.

Snowbank Trail

Snowbank Trail is a very good hiking trail that is also used by motorcyclists and horse users. It begins at Snowbank Lake and soon reaches and old clear-cut.

The Sportsman Motel has nine units with new cable TVs, in room coffee, refrigerators, microwaves, and fireplaces in all rooms. All rooms are very large. We have three triple bed rooms to accommodate larger groups.

Spring Creek RV Park

Come visit us at the Spring Creek RV Park and enjoy a relaxing evening. The sites are located on an edge of a meadow which includes a running stream. The scenery includes a view of the surrounding mountains with numerous points of access for hiking or activities in these areas.

Stemple Pass Ski Trail

The Stemple Pass Ski Trails are a system of connected ski trail loops that provide opportunities for beginner and intermediate cross-country skiing. 2 km of easiest, 20 km of more difficult, 10 km of most difficult trail; no grooming. Parking available for 40 vehicles.
