Laurel

The Laurel Public Library provides library services to the residents of Laurel. The library is funded from general fund revenues collected inside the city of Laurel. No county funding is received for the library.

The Lion's Family Park was recently developed by the Laurel Lion's Club. It contains walking trails, a picnic shelter, parking area, and a pond that is stocked with trout each year. Montana fishing licenses are required for fishing in the pond.

Little Big Men & Curt's Saloon are located in Laurel, center of Montana. This family restaurant and casino offer fine dining with a wide variety of food, such as steaks, chicken, and much more in addition to our mouth watering pizza.

Murry Park is a city park with soccer practice fields and playground equipment.

New Hope Fellowship Lutheran Church of Laurel was established in 1997 and is affiliated with the American Association of Lutheran Churches. Sunday contemporary worship begins at 9:00am, followed by coffee and fellowship. Family Sunday school starts at 11:00am.

New Life Foursquare Church was established in September 2002. Saturday evening worship is at 5:30pm with nursery and kid's ministry available. Sunday morning worship is at 10:30am with nursery and kid's ministry available.

Nutting Park is a city park with baseball fields and playground equipment.

The Owl Junction Diner is a landmark of Laurel. Built in 1916, it has been the main eating establishment for 75 years. People gather around the counter area early every morning to discuss the days events. Meals are homemade everyday from scratch.

Pelican Truck Plaza is open year round for business and vacation travelers. It is a great stop on the route to Yellowstone Park via Beartooth Highway. We have an RV park with cabins and teepees along with a motel. There is a total of 40 RV sites.

Pizza Hut Restaurants, managed by Restaurant Management Company, have lunch buffet available from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm weekdays. Featured on the Italian Buffet are six varieties of pizza. Delivery is available in most markets, featuring the Totally New Pizza Hut products.

Riverside Park, shaded with giant cottonwood trees and located on the banks of the Yellowstone River, is a historical park. At one time, this site was a Japanese and German prisoner of war camp. Within walking distance you will find a discount bakery and sporting goods store.

Russell Park is a city park with playground equipment, picnic area and seasonal restroom facilities.
