Sweet Grass Creek Trail (119) travels from the junction of Big Timber Creek Trail 119 near Conical Peak to Sweet Grass Trailhead, providing access to Middle Fork Sweet Grass Creek Trail 123 and Sunlight Lake Trail 273. The headwaters of Sweet Grass Creek are particularly scenic.

Sweet Grass Ranch

Sweet Grass Ranch, on the National Register of Historic Places, is an operating cattle ranch. It is secluded in the mountains forty miles from Big Timber.

The Grand Hotel

The Grand Hotel, which was built in 1890, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The Holler

Off the beaten path you will find The Holler, comprised of nearly 50 acres practically surrounded by Forest Service land with designated trails. We have six trout ponds, horses, tack, etc.

The Montana Pantry is for people who like to cook and entertain. We have all the foods you want in your well stocked pantry.

Tom? Cabin

There is one proper bedroom in the home - which has a queen size bed and a twin size bed. There is additional sleeping space on a twin bed on the screened in porch. Also, the living room has a sleeper sofa. There are two full bathrooms in the home.

Tomato Can Trail (156) starts at the junction with Lower Deer Creek Trail 5. It travels west up Tomato Can Gulch across Iron Mountain Road 482 to Red Mountain and terminates at Cherry Creek Road 206. The trail is difficult to find in certain sections.

Trail Creek Trail (231) is a connecting trail between Fourmile Trail 22 and Meatrack Trail 23. Mostly forested and good for a short loop trip.

Upsidedown Trail (26) travels from Upsidedown Trailhead south of Hicks Park Campground to the scenic Lake Plateau to Rainbow Lakes and Lake Plateau. The trail has an elevation of 3,000 feet.

USGS Trail (24) travels from Silver Pass to Bridge Creek Trail 25. This is a high elevation trail. The trail is steep in places. From the trail you can enjoy many nice views of the Boulder drainage.

Length: 12 miles. Wilderness, medium difficulty, moderate use

Five person capacity; cost $35.00. 14 miles on gravel road. During winter renter may have to ski, snowshoe or snowmobile a short distance on the county road, approximately 2 miles. Power, electric stove, cook/heat stove and refrigerator available.

West Boulder Campground

West Boulder Campground is located in Gallatin National Forest. There are 10 sites with the largest parking spur available being 14' X 60'. This campground has toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and fishing access. No firewood is provided.

West Boulder Trail (41) travels south from West Boulder Trailhead through intermittent timber and open meadows to Mill Creek Pass. The trail is on a relatively gentle grade until the final ascent of the pass, where it is fairly steep. Excellent views from the pass.

Four person capacity; cost $25.00. 1/4 mile driveway slick in wet weather. Winter access varies with snow conditions. Wood heat/cook stove. No power or drinking water. Bring portable water. Water from creek must be treated and may be frozen in winter.

West Bridger Trail (129) starts at the junction with Lower Deer Creek Trail 5. It travels east over the Deer Creek - Bridger Creek Divide to the West Bridger Creek Road. The trail accesses Lower Deer Creek Rental Cabin. Primarily used during the hunting season and cattle grazing season.

West Fork Upper Deer Creek Trail (108) starts at the end of the Cherry Creek Road 206. It travels south along the West Fork of Upper Deer Creek to the junction with Boone's Peak Stock Driveway Trail 2.

West Fork West Boulder Trail (143) is a 2.3 mile spur trail that starts at its junction with West Boulder Trail 41 about 13 miles south of West Boulder Trailhead. It travels southwest mainly through timber to open meadows. Can be used to access to high elevation mountain peaks and small lakes.
