Red Shale Campground is located in the Custer National Forest in southeast Montana. At an elevation of 3000 feet, it encompasses an area of 5 acres. It is a basic campground with primitive restrooms and 14 campsites. Pets are allowed. The maximum trailer length is 32 feet.

Reservoir Lake is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. Scenic trails are offered for hiking. Fishing, swimming and boating are also among the activities to be enjoyed at the campground. There are 16 designated campsites, as well as restrooms and drinking water.
Rexford Bench Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 2500 feet, the campground encompasses 25 acres. There are 153 different campsites to choose from. Drinking water and restrooms are provided.
Richardson Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest in the Castle Mountains. At an elevation of 5,500 feet, the campground encompasses 8 acres. It is located in a lodgepole pine forest on a hillside. There are 3 campsites provided with restrooms.
Richardson Creek Campground is located in Lewis and Clark National Forest. The campground has three designated campsites. Restrooms are available, but water is not so remember to bring your own. There are scenic trails for hiking at Richardson Creek.
River Point Campground is located in the Lolo National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 3,993 feet, the campground encompasses 8 acres. The site is situated in thick pine, larch and fir trees near Seeley Lake at the outlet to the Clearwater River.
Rock Creek Horsecamp is located in Bitterroot National Forest at an elevation of 4500 feet. There are 10 campsites. The campground was designed and built to accommodate horse users. Hard compacted gravel is used throughout the campground for a connecting accessible route of travel.
Rock Lake Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana at an elevation of 2,915 feet. This site is located in a natural forest environment. There is designated parking; individuals walk a very short distance to the picnic tables and tent sites.
Rocky Gorge Campground is located in Kootenai National Forest. This unit is located in a natural forest setting adjacent to 90-mile-long Lake Koocanusa, and along State Highway 37. This site features a camping/parking area that is surrounded by forest lands.
Rombo Creek Campground is located in the Bitterroot National Forest of southwest Montana. At an elevation of 4,500 feet, this campground encompasses 7 acres. This is a basic campground with partially accessible restrooms (need assistance) and drinking water.
Sage Creek Campground is located in the Custer National Forest in southwest Montana not far from the Wyoming border. At an elevation of 6000 feet, the campground encompasses 17 acres. There are 12 campsites provided with restrooms. Fishing may be enjoyed by the angler nearby on Sage Creek.
Sam T. Billings Campground is located in Bitterroot National Forest. There are 11 campsites. The campground can accommodate trailers up to 30 feet. Restrooms are provided, but remember to bring your own drinking water.
Schumaker Campground is located very close to the boundary of the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness at an elevation of 6500 feet. It overlooks Twin Lakes with swimming and fishing access. Water levels may drop in late summer as irrigation water for the valley is taken from the lake.
Seeley Lake Campground is located in the Lolo National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 3,993 feet, the campground encompasses 11 acres. The 29 campsites and 9 picnic sites are located on the shore of Seeley Lake in a wooded area.
Seymour Campground is located within the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest in southwest Montana. At an elevation of 6700 feet, the campground encompasses 7 acres and contains 17 campsites. Restrooms and drinking water are available. Fishing and hiking access is conveniently located.
Sheridan Creek Campground is located in the Custer National Forest in southwest Montana. At an elevation of 6500 feet, the campground encompasses 8 acres. There are 8 campsites provided with restrooms and hand-pumped drinking water. Fishing may be enjoyed by the angler nearby.
At the Shields River Campground maximum vehicle length is 22 feet. Call ranger district for road conditions when conditions are wet. This campground has toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and fishing access. This is a pack-in/pack-out campground with no trash services or water provided.
At an elevation of 4,500 feet, Siria Campground contains 4 campsites. Fishing can be enjoyed here. No drinking water is provided. Please limit your stay to 14 days.
Skidway Campground is located in Helena National Forest in southwest Montana at an elevation of 5500 feet. Situated on a hillside above the Deep Creek Canyon in birch and spruce timber, the campground provides 13 sites widely spread over 18 acres. Water and restrooms are provided.
