Home Gulch Campground stretches along the North Fork of the Sun River between two towering cliffs at an elevation of 4,580 feet. Most of the 15 sites overlook the river and are shaded by aspen and alder trees. The interior road is narrow.
Hood Creek Campground is located on the shore of Hyalite Reservoir. At an elevation of 6500 feet, the campground encompasses an area of 5 acres,contains 18 camp sites, and two group picnic areas. Restrooms, picnic tables, fire rings, trash pick up service and drinking water are provided.
Howard Lake Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 4100 feet, the campground has 9 campsites. The basic facilities including restrooms and drinking water are provided.
Indian Hill Campground is located in Lewis and Clark National Forest. There are 7 campsites near scenic hiking trails. Drinking water and restrooms are provided. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 20 feet. Please limit your stay to 16 days.
Indian Trees Campground is located in the Bitterroot National Forest of southwest Montana. At an elevation of 4500 feet, the campground encompasses 7 acres of land. There are 16 campsites, as well as water and restroom facilities and garbage pick up.
Jack Pine Flats Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana at an elevation of 3100 feet. It is a small dispersed site, just 3.5 miles from the Idaho state line. Restrooms are provided, and there is space for 4 trailers.
Jennings Campground is located in Bitterroot National Forest near the East Fork of the Bitterroot River providing great fishing opportunities. The area is abundant with a variety of wildlife such as big horn sheep, deer, elk, and moose. There are 4 campsites and restrooms provided.
Jimmy Joe Campground is located in Custer National Forest in south central Montana. At an elevation of 6000 feet, the campground covers an area of 4 acres. The campground offers tent and trailer sites with facilities limited to restrooms. Fishing may be enjoyed nearby.
Judith Station Campground is located in Lewis and Clark National Forest, adjacent to the historic Judith Guard Station. There are 3 campsites at Judith Station with fishing access nearby. Drinking water and restrooms are provided.
Jumping Creek Campground is located in Lewis and Clark National Forest. The campground is well back from US Route 89 on Sheep Creek at an elevation of 5800 feet. Several of the campsites overlook the creek and most of the 10 sites are nestled under mature spruce trees.
Kading Campground is located in Helena National Forest. There are 14 campsites, water, and restrooms. Fishing is among the activities to be enjoyed at Kading Campground. The maximum recommended trailer length is 22 feet. Please limit your stay to 14 days. Fee required.
Kilbrennan Lake is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 2,900 feet, the campground encompasses 6 acres with 7 separate campsites. The basic facilities are offered; no drinking water is available.
Kreis Pond, at an elevation of 3,600 feet, has 7 campsites and 1 picnic site. Boating, fishing, and mountain biking may be enjoyed at this campground. No drinking water is provided. Please limit your stay to 14 less that two consecutive nights.
Ladysmith Campground is located in Deerlodge National Forest. The campground includes 6 campsites. Restrooms are available. Drinking water is not provided so remember to bring your own. The maximum recommended trail length for the area is 16 feet. Please limit your stay to 16 days.
Lake Alva Campground is situated in thick spruce and subalpine trees 10 miles north of Seeley Lake at an elevation of 4,100 feet. There are picnic areas and 41 family campsites and 2 group campsites at Lake Alva. Reservations are required for groups of 11 or more and cost $25 - $35.
Lake Como Lower Campground is located southwest of Hamilton, Montana at an elevation of 4500 feet. It is a large irrigation reservoir which lies in a beautiful canyon. During irrigation season it is drawn down and activities may fluctuate according to water levels.
Lake Como Upper Campground is located in Bitterroot National Forest at an elevation of 4500 feet. The campground contains 10 campsites, which can accomodate trailers up to 16 feet in length. Restrooms are available.
Lake Creek Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana at an elevation of 3,300 feet. This is a small campground with 4 campsites and access to several hiking trails.
This campground has 3 undeveloped campsites. Enjoy fishing, swimming, boating and waterskiing on Lake Inez. A boat launch is provided. It is nine miles to groceries, gas, and sports rentals from the campground. No drinking water available. Please limit your stay to 14 days.
