Chief Joseph Group Campground

Chief Joseph Campground is located in Gallatin National Forest in south central Montana at an elevation of 7500 feet. There are 6 sites with the longest spur lenth available being 42 feet. A toilet, picnic tables, fire rings, drinking water, and trash service are provided.

Chippy Park Campground

Chippy Park Campground is located in Gallatin National Forest. There are 7 sites with the largest available parking spur being 12' X 63'. This campground has fire rings, picnic tables, handicapped accessible toilets, and 2 hadicapped accessible sites. Local fishing access.

Chisholm Campground is located in Gallatin National Forest. There are 10 sites for camping with the largest parking spurs being 14 feet by 60 feet and 28 feet by 35 feet.

Clark Memorial Campground, at 2,700 feet, is located near Thompson Falls in northwest Montana on the Thompson River. There are 5 campsites. No drinking water is available at the campground. It is 10 miles from the campground to gas and groceries.

Clearwater Crossing Campground and Trailhead is a primitive campground with 3 overnight campsites located along the West Fork of Fish Creek. Fishing and hiking may be enjoyed here. Clearwater Crossing serves as a trailhead for several trails that access the Great Burn proposed wilderness area.

Cliff Point Campground

Cliff Point Campground is located in Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest in southwest Montana near the Idaho border. The campground is at an elevation of 6,400 feet and contains 6 specified campsites. Facilities include restrooms and drinking water.

Colter Campground is located in Gallatin National Forest. There are 23 campsites with access to drinking water and restrooms. Fishing access and scenic trails for hiking can be found nearby. The maximum recommended trail length for the area is 22 feet.

Copper Creek Campground

Copper Creek Campground is located in Deerlodge National Forest in southwest Montana. At an elevation of 5500 feet, the campground covers an area of 2 acres. It is a small campground offering 7 campsites on the Middle Fork of Rock Creek, which is great for fishing.

Copper Creek Campground is located in Helena National Forest at an elevation of 5300 feet. It contains 21 campsites with toilets, water and garbage removal provided. Horse corrals close by. Snowbank Lake picnic area is nearby with swimming available. Non-motorized boating on Snowbank Lake.

Copper King Campground is located in the Lolo National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 2,700 feet, the campground encompasses an area of 2 acres. It contains 5 campsites. Fee area. No drinking water is provided. Groceries and gas can be bought 9 miles from the campground.

Coulter Campground

Access to Coulter Campground is by boat or trail #257. Docks are available for private boats, or you can take the commercial tour boat from the Gates of the Mountains Boat Club which docks at Meriwether Picnic Area 1 mile south of Coulter and hike back to Coulter Campground.

Cow Creek Campground is located in Custer National Forest. There are 8 campsites with primitive restrooms. Water is not provided, so remember to bring your own. There is a livestock water tank up the drainage approximately one mile north of the campground.

Crazy Creek Campground is located in Bitterroot National Forest at am elevation of 4500 feet. The campground has a lower and upper portion. The the upper portion for general camping. The lower portion is for campers with horses. Hiking may be enjoyed on a trail leads out of the campground.

Cromwell Dixon Campground

Cromwell Dixon Campground is located in Helena National Forest in southwest Montana. The site was named after the first aviator to cross the Continental Divide (1911). At an elevation of 6325 feet, The Cromwell Dixon Campground covers an area of 9 acres with 14 camp sites and 9 trailer sites.

Crystal Lake Campground located on Crystal Lake in the shadow of Mt. Harlow at an elevation of 5,700 feet. The camp is situated in a delightfully thick stand of spruce. The 23 campsites are large, secluded and widely spaced.

Dalles Campground is located in the Lolo National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 4,200 feet, the campground encompasses 3 acres. There are 10 campsites provided with restrooms and drinking water. Fishing is good on Rock Creek.

Delmoe Lake Campground is located in the Deerlodge National Forest in southwest Montana at an elevation of 6,100 feet. There are 25 designated campsites with water and restrooms provided. Fishing and boating in are popular activities at Delmoe Lake. A boat launch is provided.

Devil Creek Campground

Devil Creek Campground is located in Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana. The atmosphere here is unconfined. The campground is often used by horsemen and features a stock unloading ramp and feed troughs. Food service is available within one mile of the site.

Devil's Corkscrew Campground has 4 designated campsites. Restrooms available. Drinking water is not provided. The maximum recommended trail length for this area is 32 feet.
