There is a $60 a night usage fee. The cabin will accommodate up to eight people. This cabin is two stories and has three bedrooms. It is furnished and provided with a water pump and a wood stove. Winter access is limited (.5 mile walk).

Three person capacity; cost $20.00. Road normally plowed to junction, about 1.5 miles from cabin. This two room log cabin is situated just below the timber high on the edge of Horse Prairie. The view from the cabin overlooks Horse Prairie.

Eight person capacity; cost $20.00. Plowed within 7 miles of cabin. Propane stove, refrigerator, wood stove, firewood, and water provided. Available 12/1 - 3/31.

Four person capacity; cost $30.00. Wood heating stove and propane lantern provided. No drinking water. Plowed within 5 miles of cabin. Accessible by snowmobile or cross-country skis, in winter, and high clearance vehicles in summer.

Four person capacity; cost $25.00. The Indian Flats Cabin is accessible by cross-country skiing or snowmobile in winter (7 miles). Access may be restricted during spring breakup.

Kading Cabin

Kading Cabin can be accessed via Little Blackfoot Road at Elliston Road plowed within 7 miles of cabin. It is available all year except from April 15 - June 1. Access may be restricted during spring breakup. It has a four person capacity; cost $25.00. Maximum stay of 5 nights.

Six person capacity; cost $40.00. Parking plowed in winter. Near cross-country and snowmobile trails. Firewood, electrical lighting, refrigerator and cooking facilities provided. Renter must provide water.

There is a $25 a night usage fee. The cabin accommodates up to four people. It is a one room cabin with a propane stove and lights. High clearance or 4-wheel drive vehicles required. Winter access by snowmobile or skis.

There is a $20 a night usage fee. Add $5 for horses. Summer use only, and 4x4 vehicles only. The cabin is equipped with a wood stove and a corral for horses. It is a one room cabin.

Four person capacity; cost $30.00. Approximately 10 miles to cabin via snowmobile or skis in winter. Can drive to cabin in summer.

There is a $50 a night usage fee and an 11:00am checkout time. The cabin will accommodate up to 5 people. Propane stove, refrigerator, lights, and wood furnace provided. Hot and cold water, a shower, and a flush toilet (summer only) are also available.

The lookout will accommodate up to four people; cost $30.00. It's the ideal family getaway. McCart Lookout is located on the edge of the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness and offers beautiful views of the Pintler Mountains to the east and the Bitterroot Mountains to the west.

Four person capacity; cost $20.00. This lookout was built in 1924 and actively used for detecting forest fires for over 30 years. Abandoned in the 1950's, it has recently been renovated by Forest Service crews.

There is a $30 a night usage fee. The cabin will accommodate up to four people. You must make a difficult 3 mile hike up to the cabin or use the 7 mile horse trail of medium difficulty. The building was restored in 1999. Propane heating/cooking stove and kitchen utensils provided.

Four person capacity; cost $35.00. Wood stove for heat, electric stove, and lights provided. No drinking water. Road is plowed to Snowbank Snowmobile Parking Area which is adjacent to the Mill Creek area.

There is a $25 a night usage fee and a maximum stay of three days. The cabin will accommodate up to four people. Propane cooking and pit toilet provided. Renters must furnish their own water. Discourage bringing children. Grizzly bear restrictions apply. No pets.

Moose Lake Guard Station

Four person capacity; cost $20.00. May require about a 1/4 mile walk in from December 1 - May 1 depending on snow conditions. Contains wood stove, propane gas stove and well. Renters need to bring their own propane. Water may not be available from December through May.
