Cummings Cabin

Four person capacity; cost $25. Cummings Cabin is open all year except during big game hunting season. Maximum stay is 5 nights. No electricity or running water. Call Ranger Station for availability and reservations. Cross-country ski or snowmobile access in winter.

Five person capacity; cost $25.00. Late season road vehicle access may be marginal. Four-wheel drive advised. Must furnish water. Propane cook stove, lights, wood stove, and firewood provided. Snowmobile or cross-country ski access during normal winter months.

There is a $20 a night usage fee. The cabin will accommodate up to six people. The last four miles up to the cabin is not open to motorized vehicles. There is a two night minimum stay on holiday weekends.

Guard station is a cabin with an 8 person capacity. Cabin is rustic but has electricity and an airtight woodstove for heat (firewood provided). Cooking facilities and bunks (without mattresses) provided. Additional classroom facility also available to accommodate large group functions.

Gem Peak Lookout

Four person capacity; cost $25.00. This lookout is on a 30-foot tower and has an excellent view of the Clark Fork River and Noxon area.

Four person capacity; cost $20.00. Road to cabin not plowed. Access distance varies with snow conditions. The cabin was originally built and used as a line cabin for ranchers and then donated to the Forest Service in 1910.

There is a $20 a night usage fee. The cabin will accommodate up to four people. The cabin has three beds. High clearance vehicles are needed for access to High Rye.

Hogan Cabin

Four person capacity; cost $25.00. Access from nearest road by snowmobile is 5 miles and for skiers, 3.2 miles by trail. Winter rental only.
