Fishing Access Site

Sheds Bridge is a state fishing access site located along the Gallatin River just west of Bozeman. There is a boat launch of carry-in launching only. This is a day use only site.

Sheep Flats is a day use only state fishing access site located along the Blackfoot River. Numerous roads skirt this area, and provide several; access points to the river down a steep bank. Non-motorized watercraft only for the Blackfoot River and its tributaries.

Sheep Mountain is a state fishing access site located along the Yellowstone River in south central Montana. There is a primitive campground for tent camping. 7 day stay limit Facilities are limited to toilets. There is a boat launch for carry-in launching only.

Sidney Bridge Fishing Access Site is day use site only on Yellowstone River. A boat launch and toilets are available. Open all season.

Silver Springs Bridge Fishing Access Site is a day use only site. Toilets are available. Open all season. Leased site for access to the Ruby River. Please respect boundaries and private property.

Silver Star is a state fishing access area located along the Jefferson River in southwest Montana. There is access for camp trailer but it is a day use only site. Boat launch is available.

Slip & Slide Fishing Access Site is a day use only site. Open all season.

Somers Fishing Access is a day use only site on Flathead Lake. A boat launch, toilets, water and access for camp trailers is available at this site. It is open all season.

South Sandstone Reservoir is located in southeast Montana and encompasses 372 acres. Camping is permitted. There is a 7 day stay limit. Restrooms, drinking water and access for camp trailers is available. Fishing, swimming and boating may be enjoyed on the reservoir.

Spite Hill Fishing Access Site does permit camping. There is a fee and a 14 day stay limit. Toilets available. Open all season.

Spring Creek is a state fishing access site along Big Spring Creek. Day use only site. Two sites approximately 1 mile apart; both are signed.

St. Regis Fishing Access Site is a day use only site. A boat launch and toilets are available. Site is operated and maintained by Mineral County. It is open all season.

Stickney Creek Fishing Access Site does permit camping. There is a fee and a 14 day stay limit. A boat launch, toilets, and access for camp trailers is available. Open all season.

Sunset Hill Fishing Access Site is a day use only site. There are 2 sites; one is a junction of Clearwater/Blackfoot Rivers, 2 1/2 miles south of Highway 200. The other one is 4 1/2 miles south of Highway 200. Both provide walk-in access only.

Swinging Bridge is a state fishing access site along the Stillwater River. Tent and trailer camping is permitted. Facilities are limited to toilets and there is a 7 day stay limit.

Table Rock Fishing Access Site is a day use only site. Toilets are available. Open all season.

Tarkio Fishing Access Site is a day use only site. There is a boat launch, toilets, and access for camp trailers. It is open all season.

Tarkio East is a day use only state fishing access site along the Clark Fork River in northwest Montana. Access to the river is difficult.

Teakettle is a state fishing access site along the North Fork of the Flathead River at Columbia Falls, Montana. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed on the river from this day use area. Restrooms and a boat launch site are provided.
