There are three lakes: Lower (20 acres); middle (35 acres) and Foy Lake (273 acres); about 1/8 of a mile apart. Swimming, fishing, and boating may be enjoyed on Foy Lake. The lake is stocked annually with rainbow trout.
Fresno reservoir has 7,388 surface acres and 65 miles of shoreline, offers good fishing opportunity for walleye, northern pike, and perch. Concrete boat ramp, picnic shelters, and swimming beach.
Fresno Tailwater is a state fishing access site located in northeast Montana near the Milk River. Although this is a day use only site, camping is available on Bureau of Reclamation administered land adjacent to this site. A boat launch and toilets are available. Open all season.
Gallatin Forks is a state fishing access site located in southwest Montana. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed on the Gallatin River. There is a boat ramp provided. Day use only, toilets available. Two parcels of land at this site.
General Custer Fishing Access Site is located in south central Montana on the Big Horn River where fishing may be enjoyed. Camping is permitted with a 7 day stay limit. Boat launch and access for camp trailers.
Glen State Fishing Access is located south of Butte, Montana. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed on the Big Hole River. There is a boat ramp available for carry-in launching.
Glen Lake is a state fishing access site located in northwest Montana. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed on Glen Lake. There is a boat launch. Access for camp trailers. Day use only.
Grey Bear Fishing Access does permit camping. There is a fee and a 7 day stay limit. A boat launch, toilets and access for camp trailers is available; 32 foot limit. No water. Open all season. Large open area for camping and picnicking.
Grey Owl is a state fishing access site located in southwest Montana on the Yellowstone River. This is a day use only site with a boat launch and toilets available.
Gritty Stone Fishing Access is a day use site only. A boat launch, toilets and access for camp trailers is available. Open all season. Access to the lower Yellowstone River between Billings and Custer.
Hannon Memorial is located in southwest Montana on the Bitterroot River. There are two areas one is day use only and the other has 6 campsites. There is a 7 day limit. A boat launch, toilets, and access for camp trailers is available.
Hardy Bridge Fishing Access is a day use only site. Toilets and access for camp trailers available. Open all season. Access to river requires crossing railroad tracks.
Harrison Lake Fishing Access Site is 40 acres in size and has an elevation of 5,687 feet. Harrison Lake is located in southwest Montana on the Blackfoot River. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed. Boats must be launched at a carry-in site. Tent and trailer sites are available.
Helena Valley Reservoir is located in central Montana, adjoining the city of Helena, Montana, and 3.5 miles west of Canyon Ferry Dam on the Missouri River. The principal purposes of the unit are irrigation and municipal water for the city of Helena.
High Bridge is a state fishing access site located in southwest Montana on the Beaverhead River. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed on the river. A boat launch is provided at this day use only site.
