Fishing Access Site

Prewett Creek Fishing Access Site does permit camping. There is a fee and a 14 day stay limit. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed on the river. A boat launch, toilets and access for camp trailers is available. Open all season.

Prickly Pear Fishing Access is a day use only site. Toilets available. Open all season.

Queen of the Waters is a state fishing access site located along the Yellowstone River. It is a day use only site.

Raynolds Pass Fishing Access Site does permit camping. There is a 7 day stay limit. A boat launch, toilets, and access for camp trailer is available. Walk-in area on east side of US Highway 87.

Red Rocks Fishing Access Site is a day use only site. There is 1/2 mile walk from parking to the site. It is undeveloped. Open all season.

Located on the scenic Judith River, Rings and Rainbows offers fee pheasant hunting and fishing. Pheasants have been raised domestically and released for three years. No pheasants are released directly in front of hunters.

River Junction is a state fishing access site along the Blackfoot River. Camping is permitted but facilities are limited to toilets. Boating may also be enjoyed on the river however the boat launch is for carry-in non-motorized watercraft only. Time limit of 7 days.

Roche Juane is a state fishing access located along the Yellowstone River. This is a day use area providing fishing and boating access. A boat launch is available but no other facilities are provided.

Rock Creek is a state recreation area located at the Fort Peck Reservoir in northeast Montana. At an elevation of 2500 feet, the recreation area encompasses 235 acres. The campground has about 10 designated sites in an open area on a bluff above the shore of Fort Peck Reservoir.

Rookery is a fishing access site located in northeast Montana along the Milk River. It is a day use area where fishing and boating may be enjoyed. There is a boat launch for carry-in craft.

Rosebud Isle is a state fishing access site located in south central Montana. Fishing may be enjoyed on Fishtail Creek. Camping is permitted at Rosebud Isle but facilities are limited to restrooms.

Rosebud West Fishing Access site does permit camping. There is a fee and a 7 day stay limit. Fishing and boating on the Yellowstone River may be enjoyed. There are boat launch, toilets and access for camp trailers is available.

Roundup is a state fishing access site located in south central Montana along the Blackfoot River. This day use area provides access for fishing and boating on the river. A boat launch is available for carry-in launching only. 'Raft-slide' structure.

Ruby Dam Fishing Access Site is a day use only site. Toilets are available. Open all season. Spillway area closed to fishing. Please respect private residence at site.

This site is 32 acres in size and 3,900 feet in elevation. There are grills/fire ring, picnic tables and trash cans available on the site. This fishing access site is part of the Blackfoot River Recreation Corridor that is 26 miles in length with 16 public access sites.

Salmonfly Fishing Access Site does permit camping. Eight campsites available within walking distance of town. There is a 7 day stay limit and a camping fee is required. A boat launch, toilets and access for camp trailers is available.

Sappington Bridge is a state fishing access along the Jefferson River. There is a boat launch at the day use only site.

Selkirk is a state fishing access site on the Musselshell River. There are about 6 undesignated sites in a wooded area on the bank of the river. The big attraction here is the trees. The river bank is quite bushy so you may have to go up or downstream a ways to find a fishing spot.

Sha-Ron is a state fishing access site located along the Clark Fork River in south central Montana. This day use only site does have a boat launch.
