Fishing Access Site

Highway 89 Bridge Fishing Access Site is a day use only site. There is a boat launch and access for camp trailers. Open all season.

Homestead Isle Fishing Access is an island site. River access only. No facilities.

Horsethief Station Fishing Access does permit camping. There is a 7 day stay limit. Toilets and access for camp trailers is available. Open all season.

Hruska Fishing Access is a day use only site. Open all season.

Indian Fort Fishing Access does offer camping, with 10 sites available for a fee. There is a 7 day stay limit. A boat launch, toilets and access for camp trailers; 32 ft. limit, is available. No water. Open all season on the Yellowstone River.

This popular paddlefishing site is 40 acres in size at 3,084 feet in elevation. There are 40 camping spaces with access for camp trailers available. The site offers a public phone (5/15 - 6/30), grills/fire rings, picnic tables, toilets, trash cans, and drinking water (5/15 - 10/1).

Johnson Reservoir Fishing Access Site is day use site only on Johnson Reservoir. Primitive site, non-motorized watercraft only. Open all season.

Juniper Bay is located on Holter Lake. The campground offers 6 units and is located 4 miles south of the dam. Some of the campsites are right on the shore of the lake and others in a small gulch slightly back from the water.

Kalsta Bridge Fishing Access Site is an undeveloped day use only site. Open all season.

Kelly Island is a state fishing access site located on the Clark Fork River. The habitat of this large 648-acre, undeveloped island is a unique mix of cottonwood bottoms, large meadows, and ponderosa pine forests with remarkable wildlife populations.

Kinsey Bridge Fishing Access Site is day use site only on Yellowstone River. A boat launch and toilets are available. Open all season.

Kohrs Bend is a state fishing area located in southwest Montana on the Clark Fork River. This is a day use area only.

Kokanee Bend is a state fishing access site located in northwest Montana on the Flathead River. There is a boat launch area. Day use only.

Kountz Bridge Fishing Access Site is an undeveloped day use only site. A boat launch is available. Open all season.

Kuester Reservoir is a state fishing access site located in northeast Montana. This is a day use area used for fishing and toilets are available.

Laurel Pond is a state fishing access site located in Laurel.

Lichen Cliff Fishing Access is a day use only site. Toilets available. Open all season.

Limespur Fishing Access Site is a day use only site. A boat launch is available. Open all season. Part of the Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park management area.

Little Powder River Fishing Access Site is day use site only on Little Powder River. This is an undeveloped, primitive site. Open all season.
