Bear Creek is a primitive camping area located on the north end of the Big Dry Arm of Fort Peck Lake. There are no designated campsites and no boat ramp. A vault toilet is available. Enjoy fishing, bird watching, wildlife viewing and getting away from it all as this secluded spot.

Bone Trail Campground

Bone Trail is located on the north side of the Fort Peck Lake, just south of Glasgow, Montana. This scenic area offers 10 primitive campsites with picnic tables and campfire rings. Amenities include a boat ramp, a vault toilet and a shade shelter.

Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge

Those seeking wild game in its natural habitat will be rewarded at the third largest refuge in the continental U.S., Missouri River Country's Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge. Bugling elk, herds of mule deer, red fox and coyotes call this place home.

Downstream Campground

The Downstream Campground is located just below the Fort Peck Dam along the scenic Missouri River. Nestled in a shady grove of cottonwood trees, this 'Class A' facility boasts 74 campsites and 71 electrical hookups.

Duck Creek is a state fishing access site located in northeast Montana near the Missouri River. Although this is a day use only site camping is available on Core of Engineer administered land adjacent to this site. A boat launch, toilets, and access for camp trailers is available.

Duck Creek Campground is located on the scenic Fort Peck Lake near the town of Fort Peck. This primitive camping area has 15 designated campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. Amenities include vault toilets and a boat ramp. Enjoy a location with easy boating access.

Flat Lake Access Site offers no camping but boat ramp and picnic shelter available, toilets on site, adjacent to a stocked fishing pond.

Fort Peck Dam Visitor Center & Museum

The Fort Peck Power Plant Museum is located in the lobby of Power Plant #1 on Lower Yellowstone Road, 2 miles northeast of Fort Peck, Montana. The museum recalls the history of the construction of the dam and power plants.

Fort Peck Dredge Cuts is a state fishing access site located in northeast Montana. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed on the Fort Peck Dredge Cuts Pond. There is a boat launch available. Camping is permitted with access for camp trailers.

Fort Peck Hotel

The Historic Fort Peck Hotel is the sports person's haven and a place of refuge for anyone needing to unwind. The wooden hotel, built in the 1930's, is filled with history and friendly faces. We offer lodging, fine dining and a fully stocked lounge.

Fort Peck Interpretive Center and Museum

The Fort Peck Dam Interpretive Center and Museum will have its' grand opening on May 7th, 2005. The Interpretive Center is the result of a unique partnership between Fort Peck Paleontology Incorporated, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Fort Peck Lake Reservoir and Recreation Area

More than 50 different kinds of fish swim in Fort Peck Reservoir, Montana's largest body of water. The lake is about 134 miles in length and has a maximum depth of 220 feet when full. There are over 1,520 miles of shoreline, longer than the California coast.

This unique working field station is a fossil repository for the State of Montana. Here, paleontologist research, prepare, mold and cast fossil finds. Recent major projects include the full scale cast of 'Peck's Rex' placed at the nearby Fort Peck Interpretive Center and Museum.

Fort Peck Wildlife Station is a field unit of Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge is about 1.2 million acres of Missouri River Breaks habitat extending from Fort Peck Dam upstream to above the Fred Robinson Bridge south of Malta.

McGuire Creek is located on the section of Fort Peck Lake known as the Big Dry Arm. Open all year, this primitive camping area has 12 designated campsites with picnic tables and campfire rings. Amenities include a vault toilet and small boat launching from the shoreline.
