The Buffalo Reserve is open only to guided tours. Tours depart from the Visitor Center and can be scheduled by phone or upon arrival. Admission charge is based on group size. RV, camping and picnic facilities are available, as well as a gift shop and museum.

Fort Belknap Indian Reservation

Fort Belknap Indian Reservation, located between the Milk River and Little Rocky Mountains, is home to the Gros Ventre and Assiniboine tribes. Guided tours are available to Snake Butte, Mission Canyon, Bear Gulch and St. Paul's Mission.

Fort Belknap Ventures, Inc. products include: paintings, sculpture, beaded bolo ties, barrettes, belt buckles, earring, dolls, moccasins, star quilts, ribbon shirts, handbags, pipe bags, dream catchers, smudge sticks. Quantity orders accepted.

Fort Belknap Rest Area is located off Highway 2 and Junction 66 on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation. This area is the home of the Assiniboine and Gros Ventre. Information and rest area are directly across from the Tribal Kwik Stop.

The Fort Belknap Kwik Stop and Little River Trading Post offer the weary traveler a break from the road. Along with gas, cold beer, pop, deli, and other sundry items, we have the Litttle River Trading Post located within the same building.

Little Rockies Meat Packing Plant, Inc. is the only tribally owned, USDA certified meat packing facility within the United Sates. Specializing in custom meat cutting and processing including organically raised beef and buffalo.
