Falls Point Trail (436) is a short steep trail above the North Fork Cabin that takes you to a peak. It's in the Scapegoat Wilderness

Length: 3.5 miles.Trail Begins: Junction with Trail 32.Trail Ends: Falls Point Lookout

Falls-Canyon Trail (16) is another route to Camp Pass and Lake Otatsy from the Monture Creek Trailhead. It goes above Falls Creek until a couple miles from the top and then it follows the creek. The trail ends at Dry Creek.

Begin at Archibald Loop Road 2192, Junction Q to Fawn Creek Road 4349, Junction L. Connecting trail between Route 8B and 9.

Fawn Creek - Placid Creek Hookup Snowmobile Trail begins at Fawn Creek Road 4349, Junction M, and connects with Placid Creek Road 349, Junction N. This is a good family trail. Not groomed on a regular basis.

Fenn Mountain Trail (88) is a short steep trail from Falls Creek Trail to the top of Fenn Mountain, just west of the Scapegoat Wilderness.

Ferguson Lake Trail drops off of Foolhen Ridge to lake. Trail is moderately steep and is open to motorized use.

Length: 1.7 miles. Moderate use

Fish Creek Trail (211) begins at the junction of Rainbow Creek Trail 28 to Columbine Pass and the Custer National Forest. Above the lake the trail ascends high, semi-open benches, affording pleasant vistas. The trail is in fair condition, but occasionally steep and rocky.

Fisher Divide Trail

Fisher Divide Trail (5.1) is best suited to horseback or mountain bike use, though it is also a fine hiking experience and is mostly located on or near ridge tops, which offer beautiful views of the Cabinet Mountains.

Length: 11.5 miles. Light use, low difficulty

Flagstaff Mountain Trail (43) is an excellent, relatively easy hike for the family. The trail winds through grassy meadows and follows a gentle ridge to the summit of Flagstaff Mountain.

Flat Rock Creek Trail (253) takes you to the top of the mountain for a view of the St. Regis River Valley.

Flat Rock Ridge Trail (254) is primarily used for hunting, but also offers some good views of the St. Regis River Valley. It's good berrypicking in season and there's lots of wildlife.

Flatiron Mountain Ski Trail is intermittently groomed. Ski or snowshoe up to Rainbow Lake road taking a right at road junctions. The road switchbacks near the top, and trees are very sparse so it is possible to ski up and follow the ridge.

Flatiron Mountain does not have a trail, but the open ridge is easy to follow and offers beautiful views of the Yaak and Kootenai areas. This is an excellent family trip.

Florence Lake Trail (451) goes east for about a mile until it intersects the Rice Ridge Trail 429. Go right and you'll come to the lake within a half mile.

For the first 2 miles Flower Creek Trail (137) is on a south slope above Flower Creek. Small flats offer good camping and their proximity to the trailhead makes them attractive for families with children. At about 3 miles, it takes off through a campsite on the left.

At the trailhead is a stock unloading ramp and hitch rails. The parking area is large. Bryant Creek Road 1213 is a long road with few turn outs and is steep and narrow on the last three miles. Single vehicles will not have problems on this road.

Ford Hill Snowmobile Trail is a network of trails in the Mullan Pass area. Caution, there may be B.P.A. administrative traffic on Randolph Creek Road, which is closed year round.

Foundation-Camp Creek Trail circles around the head of three long valleys at the base of Mt. Wam. It crosses sharp ridges between the valleys and passes through dense forests. Each end is easily accessible and connects in the middle with a short trail leading to Mt. Wam.
