Rierdon Gulch Trail is predominantly open and grassy with interspersed stands of aspen, lodgepole pine, Douglas-fir and scattered limber pine. A steep but scenic pass into Slim Gulch and the north fork of Deep Creek. Riding is moderately easy in the open areas with short, more difficult pitches through the timbered areas.
