The North Fork Teton Trail (107) heads toward the West Fork Station and passes through the narrow and winding walls of Box Canyon. The steep lower slopes mantled with a forest covering of Douglas-fir give way to high rocky walls and peaks streaked with scree and talus slopes on both sides of the canyon. The main consideration in riding the trail is that it crosses the North Fork of the Teton several times. In early spring the river may be flowing too high and fast to be crossed. Obtain a Forest Visitor's map to determine any travel restrictions.
