Big Bear Lodge offers log cabin lodging for both summer and winter travel visiting the Cooke City area. We are also a full service outfitter with services provided by Stillwater Outfitters offering summer pack trips and day rides for fishing, horseback riding and sightseeing.

Round Lake Cabin

There is a $25 a night usage fee. The cabin will accommodate up to four people. In the summer, renters must make a 1.5 mile hike or 4x4 up unmaintained Goose Lake Jeep Road from Fisher Creek Road. Winter access via snowmobile or cross-country ski from Cooke City.

Soda Butte Campground

Soda Butte Campground is located in the Gallatin National Forest in southwest Montana just outside Yellowstone National Park. At an elevation of 7500 feet, the campground encompasses an area of 10 acres. The campground contains 21 campsites equipped with restrooms and drinking water.

Super 8 of Cooke City is a brand new facility, opened in December of 2004. Located on Highway 212, four miles from the Northeast Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Single and double rooms available all with queen beds. Handicap accessible entrance doors.
