Hellgate Recreation Area

Hellgate Recreation Area is located in southwest Montana near Helena. There is a campground providing both tent and trailer sites and the basic facilities including drinking water and handicapped accessible restrooms. It is located on the west side of Canyon Ferry Reservoir. Handicapped restroom facilities are provided. Swimming, fishing, and boating may be enjoyed on the lake. There is a boat launch at the site. Please limit your stay to 14 days. You will be asked to pay a small fee for the use of this campground.
