Barretts Park Campground has tent and trailer sites, handicapped accessible restrooms, and drinking water. The campground is near fishing and boating access. Not only is this a campground, but it is also a major take out for floaters. Two hundred yards down stream is a diversion dam.

Beaver Creek Park

Beaver Creek Park is a part of a unique area in north central Montana plains country, the Bears Paw Mountains. The park is a 10,000 acre strip along the north slopes of the Bears Paw Mountains, about one-mile wide; 17 miles long and is one of the largest county parks in the nation.

Walking through this small, easily accessible cattail marsh surrounded by dry uplands at the north end of Clark Canyon Reservoir is a good way to see bird life.

Cedar Creek Campground is located in the Swan River State Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 3,500 feet, the campground encompasses two acres. Cedar Creek is set in a beautiful wooded area. The sites are primitive and unmarked.

Chinaman's Gulch is a state recreation area located in southwest Montana near Canyon Ferry Reservoir. There is a basic campground available. Facilities include restrooms and drinking water. Fishing, swimming and boating may be enjoyed on the lake. There is a boat launch accessible.

Confederate Recreation Area located in southwest Montana on Canyon Ferry Reservoir. There is a campground with basic facilities but no drinking water. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed on the reservoir. There is a boat launch for carry-in launching only.

Cottonwood is a state recreation area located on the southern tip of Canyon Ferry Reservoir in southwest Montana. There are three camping sites and toilet facilities available. Fishing may be enjoyed by the angler.

Court Sheriff Campground includes 25 campsites next to Canyon Ferry Lake. Drinking water and restrooms are provided. Swimming, fishing, and boating may be enjoyed on the lake. Please limit your stay to 14 days. You will be asked to pay a small fee for the use of this campground.

Fresno Reservoir Campground has tent and trailer sites and handicapped accessible restrooms, but no drinking water is available. The campground is near fishing and boating access. A boat launch is provided. The reservoir is also a great place for swimming.

Hap Hawkins Campground has tent and trailer sites, handicapped accessible restrooms, and drinking water. The campground is near fishing and boating access. A boat launch is provided. Please limit your stay to 14 days.

Hellgate Recreation Area is located in southwest Montana near Helena. There is a campground providing both tent and trailer sites and the basic facilities including drinking water and handicapped accessible restrooms. It is located on the west side of Canyon Ferry Reservoir.

Horse Prairie Campground has tent and trailer sites, handicapped accessible restrooms, and drinking water. The campground is near fishing and boating access. A boat launch is provided. Please limit your stay to 14 days.

Island Area has trailer sites, restrooms, water, and handicapped accessible restrooms. It is near fishing and boating access. A boat launch is provided. Tiber Marina is open for food, gas, oil, water, showers, bait, tackle and others amenities applicable to marina operations.

Itch-Kep-Pe Park has 30 tent and trailer campsites, restrooms, and drinking water. Fishing, swimming and boating may be enjoyed at here. A boat launch is provided. Please limit your stay to 14 days.

Jo Bonner BLM/Bureau of Reclamation Area is located in southwest Montana at Canyon Ferry Reservoir. There is a campground with basic facilities including drinking water. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed; however, there is no boat launch at Jo Bonner.

Kiehns Bay Campground has tent and trailer sites and handicapped accessible restrooms, but no drinking water is available. The campground is near fishing access. This is also a great place for swimming. Please limit your stay to 14 days.

Lake Shel-oole Campground

Shelby's Lake Shel-oole Campground and ballfield complex offer year round recreational opportunities. Located just 1/2 mile north of Shelby, fly fishing in the summer months and ice fishing in the winter. Ice skating, nature trails and hiking around the dam are popular things to do.
