Spring Creek Campground is located in Lewis and Clark National Forest at an elevation of 5300 feet. It is adjacent to Spring Creek among cottonwoods, ponderosa pine, juniper and aspens in a riparian environment. This provides a lot of shade for the campground. The understory is grass with a thick growth of wild roses providing privacy between sites. At least one of the 10 campsites overlooks the creek. This is a nice family campground. While primarily operated on a first-come basis, reservations will be accepted, but must be made at least 16 days in advance.
