Activities
Our facility has a local history library. We also have a library containing books and magazines on art. This extensive collection was given to the Heritage Center by the family of local artist, Charlotte Rees Gabisch.
We have two galleries used for local and traveling art shows, juried shows and exhibits. Shows and exhibits change every four to six weeks.
We have a sales shop featuring items from local craftsmen, artists and writers as well as a good selection of 'Made in Montana' products. The lower level of the center is our museum. It was designed to let you take a stroll down a 'frontier town' Main street. As you walk on the wooden sidewalks you visit many old time stores and offices - a doctor, a dentist, the sheriff, the railroad station and many others. It's like taking a step back in time.
