The Alta Ranch is tucked away in the beautiful Bitterroot Mountains 90 miles south of Missoula and 30 miles southwest of Darby. With just 3 vacation homes (authentic log cabins) on 140 acres, the Alta Ranch offers plenty of privacy and room to roam.

Amber Bear Hollow is a quaint Country Inn nestled in the hollow of Beaver Peak, on a wildlife sanctuary. It is bordered on the south by the Kootenai National Forest. The area is Montana's only rain forest and contains an impressive variety of trees, plants, wild berries and wildflowers.

The American West Motel offers 24 double and single rooms. There are also smoking and non-smoking rooms available. All rooms have individual air-conditioning units to guarantee personal room comfort.
