Springtime Ranch

The purpose of Springtime Ranch is to help young people develop and appreciation of nature by working with animals. We offer a counselor and a junior counselor for every five ranch hands, which creates a safe, fun and educational camping experience. The goal at Springtime Ranch is to help develop and awareness of one's self through our natural environment.

Springtime Ranch Camp is a summer camp for boys and girls, ages 7 to 12. The camp is located on a working cattle ranch south of Ulm, Montana. Sally Shortridge is the camp's director. The Shortridge family began ranching in Montana in 1914. The ranch produces grass-alfalfa hay. The Red Angus Cattle and herd thrives along a wooded stretch of prime Missouri River bottom land.
