Public Golf Course

Helena's third course is the Fox Ridge Golf Course in the valley near Lake Helena. Fox Ridge features an 18-hole par-3 course as well as a nine-hole regulation course and is open to the public seven days a week. Another nine regulation holes are under construction.

The rugged beauty of Glacier National Park provides the back-drop for the 18-hole (par 72) Glacier View Golf Club. In the fall, golfers must concentrate on getting around the relatively flat but tricky course with the possibility of seeing elk, deer, and sometimes even bear.

Harlem Golf Course is a 9-hole course.

Rates: $8 for 9 holes, $15 for 18 holes

Harvest Hills Golf Course offers you some of the best golfing around. USGA rules govern all plays. Distances and sprinkler heads are measured to middle of greens. Red stakes mark lateral hazards and all perimeter fences and white stakes are O.B.

Headwaters Golf Course is a fun risk - reward course that will challenge golfers of all ability levels. 6 of 9 holes feature water hazards including 5 of the last 6. Headwaters Golf Course is a well manicured 9-hole course and is open for golf all year long as weather permits.

Highland View Golf Course is a 9-hole course.

Rates: $8 weekdays, $10 weekends

Highlands Golf Club is a 9-hole course.

Rates: $9 for 9 holes, $16 for 18 holes

Judith Shadows Golf Course includes a 18-hole course, pro shop, cart and club rentals and clubhouse (snacks and refreshments available). Open to the public. Open seasonally. Mountain view from creek bottom of golf course. Bent grass course with water in play. Built in 1997.

Livingston Country Club is located on the beautiful Yellowstone River. This nine-hole course offers spectacular views of the Absoroka-Beartooth and Crazy Mountains. The course offers a challenging round for a variety of golfers. Club carts and club rentals are available.

Madison Meadows Golf Course is a 9-hole course located in the scenic Madison valley. This challenging course runs through the foothills of the Gravelly Mountain Range. Host to one of Montana's toughest Par 5's, this course brings you back time after time.

Shelby has the finest and most unique eighteen-hole golf course in the State of Montana, offering both the serious and not so serious golfer a most pleasant experience on the links.
