The lower 2 miles of Basin Creek provides fair fishing for eastern brook trout. The surrounding area has been logged repeatedly since the early 1990s. Elevation 4,700 feet.

Belmont Creek Fishing Access is a day use only site. There is walk-in access only (approximately 500 yards) boat launching is not advised. Non-motorized watercraft only for the Blackfoot River and its tributaries. This site is open all season.

Access to the creek is by foot travel only. Brush, windfalls, and a rocky channel make the stream hard to fish. Rainbow and cutthroat trout are the resident species. For overnight use, dispersed camp sites are located in this area.

This creek provides fair fishing for pan-sized cutthroat trout. Fishing is only available from Wigwam Creek for 2.4 miles; above that, the creek is too small to support fish.

This is a high mountain stream with high to very high resident habitat suitability. Rainbow trout (up to 9 inches) can be found in the pools and undercut bank areas. Cedar Creek averages 13 feet in width and 10 inches in depth.

Only the lower mile of the creek provides fair fishing for eastern brook trout. The area has been logged repeatedly since the early 1900s.

The first 3 miles of the stream is on private land where permission from the landowners should be obtained prior to fishing. On National Forest land fishing is fair for cutthroat and eastern brook trout.

Easily accessible on foot and close to US Highway 93. The stream provides fair fishing for eastern brook trout. Four miles south of Murphy Lake Ranger Station, is Dickey Lake. There are two campgrounds at Dickey Lake and the lake is used for a variety of recreational purposes.

This is a small stream averaging 7 feet in width and 7 inches in depth. The middle reaches flow through a rather steep, rocky gradient averaging 5 to 6 percent.

Edna Creek offers fair-to-good fishing for eastern brook, rainbow, and cutthroat trout. Approximately 3 miles of the creek flows through private land and it is recommended that permission be obtained from landowners.

Fishtrap Creek State Fishing Access is located in southwest Montana. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed on Big Hole River. Camping is permitted with a boat launch, toilets, water and access for camp trailers. There is a 7 day stay limit.

Beaver dams, deep holes and fast water provide fair fishing for cutthroat, rainbow, eastern brook trout, and some whitefish. Permission from private landowners should be obtained prior to fishing. There are several campsites dispersed along the creek.

Granite Creek can be fished either upstream or downstream from the trailhead, although private property will be encountered approximately 1 mile downstream. The upper 6 miles of Granite Creek travel through a steep, timbered canyon and are accessed by a fairly easy, well-maintained trail.

Fishing is fair for 3.5 miles up Indian Creek along Highway 93. It is also fair from US Highway 93 downstream 2 miles to the Tobacco River. This segment of the stream is all private land except for the upper .5 mile. Permission form the landowners should be obtained prior to fishing.

Lake Creek is inhabited by rainbow and cutthroat trout, up to 10 inches in length. Resident suitability is good to very good . Foot travel along the stream may be difficult as stream bank cover is generally dense and brushy.

Most of the lower reaches of Libby Creek lie along private land and have been extensively altered through mining operations. Some of the upper reaches of the stream have quality pools and the stream banks are very bushy in areas. Rainbow trout 5 to 14 inches may be caught t in Libby Creek.

Only the lower .5 mile of Lime Creek offers fair fishing for brook trout, found primarily in the beaver ponds.

Little Cherry Creek offers approximately 1.5 miles of fishable stream, averaging 7 feet wide and 8 inches deep. Cutthroat trout is the main fish species (5 to 8 inches).

These streams provide good brook trout fishing. The stream averages 8 feet wide and 6 inches deep, with good pools. Silver Butte/ Fisher River, East Fisher River, and he smaller tributaries provide excellent back country fishing.

The fishable portion of Meadow Creek is almost entirely on private land. Permission from the landowner should be obtained prior to use. Fishing is fair for rainbow, cutthroat, and pan-sized brook trout.
