Bear Trap National Recreation Trail

Hiking trails follows the river the length of the canyon but cannot be accessed from the south end. The trail provides visitors outstanding hiking and backpacking.

Continental Divide National Scenic Trail

The trail crawls along a section of the Centennial Mountains from Monida to Red Rock Pass, passing through some of the most scenic country in southwest Montana. A scenic component of the National Trails System.

Garnet Winter Recreation Trails

More than 100 miles of trails, including the 31.5-mile Garnet National Winter Recreation Trail, are open for snowmobilling and cross-country skiing. Visitors can rent two rustic cabins in the Garnet Ghost Town for overnight stays (resevations necessary for cabin rental).
