Howrey Island Campground

Howry Island Campground includes a Montana watchable wildlife viewing area. The 1.3 mile Howrey Island Nature Trail will let you explore a typical riparian cottonwood forest. One of only four known active bald eagle nesting sites in southeast Montana. Self guided nature trail for wildlife viewing. There are 2 trailer campsites on Howry Island and boating may be enjoyed here. No restroom or drinking water facilities are available. Please limit your stay to 14 days.
