Peck Gulch Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 2,470 feet, the campground encompasses 5 acres. Although not directly forested, this area is a favorite for many and has the distinction of receiving numerous yearly visits from travelers in neighboring states. Located adjacent to 90-mile-long Lake Koocanusa, this area is popular for its viewing aesthetics of the lake and is a prime kokanee salmon fishery. Fishing and boating may all be enjoyed in the area. This site is located in an open area and has no designated camping units. Picnic tables and grills are available, as well as a paved parking area for boat trailers; there are high- and low-water boat ramps. It offers facilities including restrooms with handicapped access. Pets are welcome, but they must be kept on leashes. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 32 feet. The fee for the use of this campground is $9 a day. Please limit your stay to 14 days.
