Black Mountain Outfitters

Black Mountain Outfitters offers summer vacation pack trips and day rides and early rifle bugle season elk hunts in the gorgeous Absaroka-Beartooth wilderness area. We camp in world-famous Buffalo Forks of Slough Creek, just north of Yellowstone Park and are permitted by the US Forest Service to operate our camp. We hunt a huge, spectacular private ranch north and east of Livingston for elk, whitetail and mule deer, and antelope during general season. During the winter season we are at home in beautiful Paradise Valley, twelve miles south of Livingston in southwestern Montana, hunting trophy-quality mountain lions with Redbone hounds.

Outfitting is our only business. We will work hard to make your special trip the memory of a lifetime!
