Howry Island Campground includes a Montana watchable wildlife viewing area. The 1.3 mile Howrey Island Nature Trail will let you explore a typical riparian cottonwood forest. One of only four known active bald eagle nesting sites in southeast Montana.

An Orvis ""Lodge of the Year"" fly fishing lodge, Hubbard's Yellowstone Lodge is situated in the scenic Gallatin Mountains in Paradise Valley, Montana. The lodge is located on Merrell Lake, a private 85 acre spring fed lake with large rainbows and browns.

Humbug Spires Wilderness Area

The Humbug Spires Primitive Area is a non-motorized area popular for rock climbing.

Hunter's RV Park and Trailer Court can be found 1 1/2 miles west of Anaconda in the heart of hunting, fishing, skiing, 4-wheeling and snowmobiling, not to mention all the beautiful mountains and the Anaconda-Pintlar Wilderness area for your enjoyment.

Hunters Lodge Bed and Breakfast

We are a small log house set amid pines and junipers, overlooking the Yellowstone River Valley. Mounted antlers of deer caribou, elk and moose adorn the great room. Two comfortable bedrooms (one is a 2 room suite) with private baths available.

Eight person capacity; cost $20.00. Plowed within 7 miles of cabin. Propane stove, refrigerator, wood stove, firewood, and water provided. Available 12/1 - 3/31.

Four person capacity; cost $30.00. Wood heating stove and propane lantern provided. No drinking water. Plowed within 5 miles of cabin. Accessible by snowmobile or cross-country skis, in winter, and high clearance vehicles in summer.
